Stone Fasteners long tradition of fastener manufacturing goes back to 1831 when the company was formed to produce copper nails for wooden ships being built at Greenwich.
Today the company manufactures solid and semi tubular rivets which are used in the Aerospace industry and within other commercial and allied applications. Cold headed fasteners are made out of a range of materials depending on the application and include, aluminium alloys, monel, nimonic, stainless steel, copper, mild steel, titanium and heat resisting alloys.
The company is approved to BS EN 9100:2003 and ISO 9001:2008 and is an approved supplier to, among others, Bae Systems Regional Aircraft, Bae Systems Military Aircraft and Airbus.
Large stocks are held by the company to enable rapid satisfaction of customer orders.
In addition to the above Stone Fasteners also manufacture building nails for the roofing and construction industries.
